Domaine de Pouy

We love this amazing, white wine value from wine importer Bobby Kacher. Kacher has been importing Domaine de Pouy from France's underrated Gascogny region for decades. We have a small allocation arriving on Tuesday of this week but it won't linger long on our shelves... We love it and we think that it's the ultimate summer white wine. Get some while you still can...

Wine Critic Robert Parker on Domaine de Pouy
"The finest Cotes de Gascogne has consistently been Domaine de Pouy, a wine made by the brilliant oenologist, Yves Grassa. When this offering was first imported by Bobby Kacher, only several thousand cases were available, but it has become so incredibly popular for its delightful combination of unrestrained citrusy fruit, light to medium body, and pure style, that Kacher now imports (and quickly sells) 20,000 cases."
-Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate

"Quite possibly the greatest, dry, white wine value in America!"
-Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate

2008 Domaine de Pouy
On Sale $8.99
"This delicious, dry, crisp, aromatically enticing white wine is truly incredible. It's the perfect summer wine too and an incredible bargain. Serve it as an aperitif before dinner or with lighter summer cuisine. We buy it when it's available and it almost immediately sells out. Seriously, we're not kidding, this isn't a hard-sell sales pitch. Domaine de Pouy has to be the best bang-for-the-buck white wine in the world. Don't hesitate, summer's here baby... and so is Domaine de Pouy!"
-John Nash, The Wine Merchant, Ltd.
