2007 Karma Cab
On Sale $10.99
"2007 is a knockout vintage in California. Both the Wine Spectator and Wine Advocate rate the year 96/100. 'A' quality. We've learned over the years to search out bargains from 'great' vintages. Trickle down theory. This '07 Cab bargain is from California's Paso Robles region. Dark color. Lush nose of ripe black cherries and dark plum. None of the herbal stuff on the nose that you usually find in an inexpensive Cab, just pure fruit. It's a big wine on the palate but without hard edges. There's complexity there too; hints of cocoa, tobacco and cedar. The finish is balanced by soft, round tannins. A new staff favorite." -John Nash, The Wine Merchant, Ltd.
