Final Classes for '09
Here is a listing of our final classes for 2009. We take a short break from teaching in the last few weeks of December so we can focus on customer service during this busy season. Classes at The Merch are taught by our Award-Winning Staff which includes Sommeliers, Certified Sommeliers and Certified Wine Educators along with many knowledgeable, wine industry veterans. Our 2010 schedule will be out soon so stay tuned...


Tuesday, December 1
Wine & Cheese Pairing: American Edition

In this fun and eye opening class we'll be pairing a variety of delicious wines and cheeses from the US. We're not talking about processed 'American' cheese. We'll be featuring handmade cheeses from some of the best dairies in the US paired with outstanding American wines. This class is sure to please and taught by Cheesemonger, Simon Lehrer.

Are you interested in learning more about wine but don't know where to start? Come try a sampling of styles and learn the basics. Perfect for people just getting into wine. This fun and educational class is taught by Certified Sommelier Jason Main.

Burgundy

World of Whiskey

In this class you'll learn about and sample great whiskies from around the World including examples from Scotland, Ireland and the United States. Your spirits tour guide for the evening is our resident expert Dave Davis.
