"Dark color. Aromas of plum, chocolate and ripe black cherry are accentuated by hints of violets, clove, cinnamon, and vanilla bean. Bright red fruit flavors of black cherry, strawberry and red raspberry are contrasted by dark and notes of blueberry and mocha. Great structure, fine tannins and a long, silky finish. 64% Zinfandel, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc. The '05 got rave reviews from the critics and we feel this one's even better. The 2006 was just awarded 4 out of 5 possible Stars from England's Decanter Magazine."
